(Photo: Chinnawat Singha)PHITSANULOK: A strong summer storm lashed Muang district on Tuesday night, causing widespread damage and a car crash that killed one person and injured five others. The storm moved in about 11pm, bringing heavy rain and strong winds and lasting about an hour. The 105-metre tall antenna of a radio station operated by the Meteorological Department fell to the ground, crushing the station roof and adjacent houses in tambon Tha Pho. Shortly after midnight, a Toyota Vigo pickup skidded off the rain soaked Phitsanulok-Sukhothai road and crashed into a power pole.
